I finally finished it tonight. There were 7300 images that my computer captured. I decided to leave all of it pretty much intact so you could see the entire painting process. I wish I had captured the sketching part as well, but I didn't have the foresight to do that.

Now that I've done a few of these I'm finding myself getting better at doing the timelapses. I wish I could post them on dA. I know there's a deviantFilm section, but I don't know how to add to that, or get into that. Maybe it's as simple as an upload and i just haven't tried it yet.

I've got a bunch more timelapses in the works. I've been recording everytime I sit down to draw -- well except for the sketch session for this image, but in the future, I think I'll try and record as much as I can. I'm learning a lot from putting these films together with Premiere as well. I think these timelapses maybe more interesting to me because I'm learning how to video edit (and Adobe Premiere) and it's a record of the time I spend working on these art projects.

Catherine's an older character of mine. She came from a story, but now she's been completely plucked out and morphed away from what that was, she just kinda stands alone as a pin-up girl. I do have some future plans for her though. In the meantime, here's some older artwork of her:
