So, I've never done a request before, but I figured I'd give it a shot. You know, what the hell? I asked :iconspiritwarriors: if he wanted to see any kind of thumbnail sketches, but since he didn't really care, I just decided to do what I wanted and just try and do it well. Plus, I figured it would be a great way to pull together some things I learned for inking and coloring and try and do something more complete.

For painting the backgrounds I actually studied some stills from K-ON to get an idea as to how to paint the walls, drapes, and windows. Plus the show does some of the backlighting for various scenes so it was great reference material. I'm planning on doing some more artwork, so I look forward to trying my hand at more backgrounds.

I am also interested in taking some more requests, but it'll take a while for me to get to them. Feel free to ask though and we'll play it by ear.
