Update:
Here's the link to the timelapse video: Timelapse Drawing: In Her, We Trust"

I decided to color this one. Here's the grayscale version:
I really liked the hair and face so that's why I wanted to spend the time to color it. I have a timelapse video of her creation and I'll post later on. So how much time did I put into this one?
The original sketch was maybe 1.5 hours.
Painting was 6.33 hours.
Another hour for the timelapse post processing (which is mostly done).
In the end, time-wise this will be about 9 hours. That's a good work day spread out over a few nights.
For this image I decided to try and paint her without inking it, and added to that, I tried to paint it on one layer, which mostly worked. To paint this I'm using what I've learned from painting my comic "This Mortal Coil." I'm using the lasso tool a great deal and keeping with the cel-shaded look. Doing the shading for her dress, which is leather (or like it) was really hard. When you watch the video you'll see I try 3-4 different ways of doing it. I cheated with the U.S. Great Seal emblem behind her. It's from the old 2010 cel-shaded painting of her. This image right here:
I stole it from her cap there, but I did that work, so I don't feel bad about leveraging it. Plus, to draw that seal in detail is quite a feat of work, so I'd rather reuse if I can help it. I'm not too hot about the pose, but I fixed it up a little bit. I primarily liked it for the smirk on the face and her stare, and I definitely love her right hand. I drew that really well, I feel. A first for that, and the fact that this one matches close to the original sketch is pretty damn nifty too, if I do say so myself (and give myself a back-pat for that).
Some previous artwork of Catherine:
Some non Dominatrix-dress-yet-cheesecake versions of her:
Wait for the video, it's coming...

Very good coloring. The background is neat!
